Nick graduated from La Trobe University, Melbourne in 2013 with a Bachelors of Health Science and a Masters of Podiatric Practice. He has gained clinical experience across all areas of podiatry in private practices in Hobart, Melbourne and London.


Nick has a special within in area of foot/ankle pain and sport/exercise podiatry.  He has experience and enjoys managing conditions such as heel pain, plantar fasciitis, acute/chronic ankle pain and tendon injuries such as achilles and tibialis posterior.


He has gained expertise in sports medicine and sports podiatry through consulting at Pure Sports Medicine, London’s premier sports and musculoskeletal injury clinic where he consulted within a team of sports doctors, physiotherapists and orthopedic surgeons provinding comprehensive management of many foot, ankler and lower leg conditions.


Nick has a keen interest in custom orthotic therapy  which has enabled him to implement 3D foot scanning, CAD software orthotic designing and 3D printing of orthotics at Claremont Podiatry. This enables the clinic to provide accurate prescription and designing of various orthotics. He also combines his podiatric experience with 5 years at La Trobe University as a Strength & Conditioning Coach. This gives him a unique and functional approach to his practice often incorporating a whole-body perspective to patient management.


Nick is originally from Hobart, outside of work he enjoys going to the gym, running, cycling and hockey.  He is an avid traveler who has lived in 3 different countries.

Jon has been involved in all aspects of podiatry care for over 40 years. He still enjoys keeping up with all the changes in the profession during that time.
His main areas of interest are diabetes foot care and nail surgery, taking a wholistic approach to diagnosis and treatment.
When not caring for his patients he enjoys yacht racing, cycling and gardening.

Tim is on the Tasmanian council of Sports Medicine Australia, a member of; Australian Podiatry Association and Sports and Exercise Podiatry Australia and completed his degree in Newcastle, NSW before making the move to Tasmania to deliver Podiatry services to the people of Hobart region.

Overcoming a personal battle of 14 years of chronic pain helped spur Tim into becoming a clinician with a deep understanding of pain, always ensuring he takes extra care with listening to the patients needs and developing a strong management plan to provide the patient with evidence based treatment.

Tim has spent time learning in both public hospitals and private practice and has a great appreciation for the complexities of the foot, ankle and lower limb.

Since moving to Tasmania, Tim has worked actively to develop professional networks between specialties within the allied health and medical communities in order to deliver appropriate patient care.




Brenda spent 19 years working at Claremont Village Medical before becoming an excellent Massage Therapist. She will split her time between our clinic and her massage clinic in the area. Brenda is a great addition to the growing team, she will be happy yo assist you by phone or in our clinic!

Naomi Woolley


Naomi comes from a varied career path, she has studied and worked in the building industry, fine arts, and conservation of furniture and related objects. Throughout, she has understood the importance of looking after your feet.

Starting her working life as a Carpenter, meant she was on her feet throughout the day, this was the beginning of her fascination of feet and how best to look after them. Naomi’s understanding of the importance of a good foundation, the feet, has been of personal interest for many years and is excited to have the opportunity of a traineeship within Claremont Podiatry.

Naomi has enjoyed travel overseas, which included working for the Queen of England for two years. She enjoys swimming, chatting, baking, and bush walking!!

Timea Gergely

Operations Manager

Timea started with Claremont Podiatry in January 2022. Her ‘do what it takes’ attitude and ability to wear multiple hats is helping Claremont Podiatry to grow and flourish. She manages the bookkeeping, supplier management, marketing and website development, financial management and assists with making important company decisions.

Outside of work Timea enjoys spending time in the great outdoors always looking for new adventures. She is also a photographer with special interest in aerial and food photography.
