    Do I need Orthotics?

Foot Orthotics are in shoe-medical devices (insoles / arch support inserts) that are use in the treatment of numerous foot, ankle, knee and lower limb complaints. Most importantly, these custom orthotics or inserts optimise foot function and biomechanics of the body by supporting, aligning or correcting the foot’s posture or deformity. In other words, they produce their action by altering stresses and forces that are transmitted to your muscles, tendons, ligaments, and bones. Consequently, custom foot orthotics are a useful treatment to address many common foot complaints because they optimise your foot biomechanics.
